Following loading all required documents onto the owners portal (subscription required) we’ll take you through the application process. Requires an office or telephone appointment. We’ll track your application and deal with any subsequent queries and keep you up to date.

Les has worked in the holiday home (now short term let) business for over 15 years as a holiday home owner, booking & marketing agency owner and property manager.

Since starting Gael Holiday Homes in 2008 Les grew the business from managing a handful of properties to over 130 delivering over 4,000 bookings per year with gross booking value for short term let owners of £3M.

In 2023 Gael Holiday Homes was acquired by Awaze Vacation Rentals with all properties moving over to the and Hoseasons brands.

With 10 years experience as a member of the board of the Association of Scotland’s Self-caters (ASSC), 2 years as Finance Director, Les is an accomplished Business Consultant and Business Advisor, helping owners and managers establish and grow businesses, through to acquisitions and disposals of property businesses.

A strategic leader with a collaborative approach through developing and implementing robust strategies to increase profitability and optimise processes. With in-depth knowledge of property, hospitality, retail and corporate sectors, as well as financial and commercial operations, Les’ years of experience can help you grow your business or make improvements to your current business model.

With the introduction of Licensing in Scotland, through work with the ASSC and Gael Holiday Homes, Les has in depth knowledge of the requirements to meet Scottish government and local authority licensing, steering owners through the processes to gain a licence.
